Dash Beardsley, the legendary “Ghost Man of Galveston,” started ghost tours on Galveston Island in 1997 after a chilling experience that changed his life forever. While passing Ashton Villa, Dash witnessed the apparition of Miss Bettie Brown standing in an upstairs window. When he looked back for a second glance, she had vanished. Determined to uncover the truth behind Galveston’s ghostly legends, he began researching the island’s haunted history, collecting eyewitness accounts, and documenting stories of paranormal encounters throughout the city.
From that passion and dedication, Dash created the very first ghost tour in Galveston, helping shape the island into one of Texas’ most famous haunted destinations. His storytelling, historical knowledge, and love for the supernatural inspired generations of ghost enthusiasts and tour guides.
Spooky Gin was personally trained by Dash Beardsley and proudly continues the tradition he began. Today, Spooky Gin honors his legacy by sharing the haunted history, mysterious legends, and unforgettable ghost stories of Galveston with a new generation of visitors.
